As a designer, I spend my time working in the workshop. I'm a craftsman and an innovator with a curious mind. I keep myself busy experimenting with different techniques and researching motion. One of my main motivations is to understand how things work and whether I can use a technique and make it my own. What is the machine doing? Can I imitate or influence it?

Documenting my process is vital to my work. It allows me to maintain control and understand the decisions I make. I strive to have a deep understanding of what I do and be able to explain my choices. By sharing my thoughts and showcasing the process, I can effectively communicate what I've learned and inspire others with fresh insights.

Time and history play a significant role in my projects.
I have a strong fascination for old technology, traditional crafts, and sustainability. They provide valuable perspectives for me. I learn from the inventors of the past, and I draw inspiration from their creations. In my work, I combine these old designs with modern techniques and perspectives, resulting in unique objects, materials, and inventions.
